Controller and scope

This Policy covers the slovoclub.com website and all mobile apps in the SlovoClub range. Data is processed identically across the range, so the Policy is a single document: adding a new language does not change its terms.

As of this revision, the range includes “SlovoClub: Polish Words” (com.slovoclub.polish.words, previously listed on Google Play as “Polyglot: Polish Words”, com.scalablejs.polyglotwords) and “SlovoClub: Bulgarian Words” (com.slovoclub.bulgarian.words). The list is informational: the Policy also applies to apps in the range released after this date.

What data the website processes

The website requires no registration and sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Your theme choice is stored only in your browser's local storage. Switching languages is a plain link and creates no cookies.

The website is served through Cloudflare. To deliver pages, protect the service and diagnose problems, the IP address, date and time of the request, the requested address, HTTP details and connection parameters are processed technically. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled: it collects anonymous visit statistics (page address, referrer, device type and country), uses no cookies, builds no browser fingerprint and does not track you across websites.

Data on your device

There is no SlovoClub account. Learning progress, repetition intervals, settings, custom sets, local access status and downloaded audio are stored on your device. The developer has no access to them.

This data is needed only to run the exercises and to keep your progress, settings and offline audio. You can delete it by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app. Clearing the cache removes downloaded audio files.

Audio and technical requests

The app contacts audio.slovoclub.com to fetch the voice catalogue and download the selected audio. These requests contain no SlovoClub account, advertising identifier or progress data.

Cloudflare processes the IP address and technical request details to deliver the service, protect it and limit abuse. A temporary request-rate counter in a Worker instance may be kept for up to 24 hours and is not used for advertising or profiling.

Purchases through Google Play

Premium is purchased through Google Play. Google processes payment data, order history and Google Account data under its own terms. The app receives from Google Play the product and purchase-state information needed to grant and restore Premium; the developer operates no payment server and keeps no customer database.

Deleting the app's local data does not delete the purchase history in your Google Account. That information is managed through Google Play and your Google Account.

Sharing, security and retention

The developer does not sell personal data, does not use advertising networks, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics or SDK trackers, and does not share progress data with third parties.

Recipients of technical data are limited to the infrastructure providers required to run the service: Cloudflare for the website and audio, Google Play for app distribution and purchases. Data in transit is protected with HTTPS. Retention periods at these providers are governed by their own terms and legal obligations.

Age and your rights

The app is suitable for any age: there is no account, no analytics and no advertising, and progress stays on the device, so no personal data of children is collected.

Because there is no SlovoClub account and no server-side profile, the developer normally holds no data that can be linked to an individual user. For access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or to raise a complaint, write to support@slovoclub.com. You may also contact your competent data protection authority.

Changes to this Policy

If the way data is processed changes, we will update this page and the effective date of the revision. Material changes will be disclosed before the new processing begins where the law requires it.
